Gamma Sublimatico is a roll-to-roll or roll-to-sheet screen printing line, which allows to print with silk-screen paintings and sublimation inks paper for transfer applications on polyester. The printing line is usually made with 6 printing units with intermediate air drying hoods, the number of units is however a characteristic at the customer's discretion. An introduction for paper reels defines the beginning of the line, at the exit the machine can be equipped with a rewinder or a final cut that already cuts to the sheets that will be used in heat transfer.

UNWINDING UNIT
Electro-welded steel structure containing:
  • Self- aligning roll-holding trolley
  • Photocell for reading the substrate hem, whose position may be adjusted by knob.
  • Motorisation for the roll unwinding by inverter.
  • Motorisation of the roll-holding trolley by motor-reducer.
  • Pneumatic expansion central spindle for carton tube having an inner diameter of 76 mm.
  • Spindle lateral supports endowed with quick hook system at square flange.
  • Rails for the roll obliquity adjustment.
  • Compensation cylinders for the self-adjustment (in both directions) with the printing machine.
PRINTING UNITS
  • N° 6 independent printing units featuring an open structure and made by high resistance steel.
  • Squeegee/flood bar movements mechanically driven by high precision linear guides and powered by AC motors connected to inverters.
  • Squeegee lifting and screen frames locking/unlocking pneumatically driven.
  • Knobs onto the lifting pistons for the squeegee and flood bar pressure adjustment.
  • The working position is achieved by the screen which raises and lowers on FOUR posts.
  • The washing position is mechanically driven on FOUR posts
  • The screen peel-off is adjustable in high and stroke.
  • The screen frame can be loaded/unloaded from the operator side. Its position can be adjusted on the “x” and ”y” axis by motor-reducers.
  • Each printing unit is equipped with a “touch-screen” panel for the control of its main functions.
  • Each printing unit can slide on rails for the correct positioning of the printing step.
BELT CLEANING DEVICE
Positioned underneath the outlet section of the machine, it is composed of:
  • Stainless steel tank properly sealed.
  • Three electrically driven rotary brushes.
  • After-cleaning twin squeegee to remove the water from the belt.
  • Pneumatic device for lifting.
HOT AIR DRYERS
N° 6 hot air dryers for the ink curing between each printing unit. They are manufactured in steel and composed by:
  • N° 2 electro-fans featuring a capacity of 600 mt3 /hour each.
  • Blowing area equipped with holes, whose number and location, together with the distance from the support, ensure a perfect treatment uniformity
  • N° 2 lateral chambers for the recirculation of the air blown by the fans.
  • N° 2 pneumatic cylinders for the horizontal lifting of the whole dryer. This function allows the check the print accuracy between each colour.
  • N° 2 resistance batteries featuring 4 KW (8 KW in total for each dryer)
  • Each dryer, which is completely independent and power supplied by the printing machine, can slide on guides along the machine.
  • Useful blowing area: 120 x 160 cm
SHEETER
  • Guillotine-type sheeter completely mechanical for a maximum cut of cm 180
AUTOMATIC STACKER
Placed after the sheeting unit, it is composed by:
  • Take off system equipped with policord belts independently motorised by CC motor endowed with speed adjustment.
  • Electrovalve of the air cushion controlled by photocell.
  • The stacker is equipped with lateral and frontal lining-up cylinders completely independent and adjustable.
  • The lowering and lifting of the pallet carrying the substrates is controlled by a sensor which drives a self-braking motor.
  • Paper format adjustable from a maximum width of 160 cm to a minimum of 120 cm and from a maximum length of 120 cm to a minimum of 100 cm.
  • Sheet counter with zero.
REWINDER WITH DRYING HOOD
  • Maximum diameter of reels in winding: 350 mm
  • Inner diameter of the cardboard tube: max. 76 mm
  • Cylinder table 210 cm, for material in max. 190 cm.
  • Pneumatic expansion shaft to support cardboard tube inside diameter 76 mm in winding.
  • Maximum winding speed: from 0 to 30 m / min.
  • Button control for slow rotation.
  • Vertical sliding compensator accumulation group composed of seven 90 mm diameter cylinders, balancing adjustment by means of counterweights.
  • Max content accumulation 10 meters, the structure of the accumulation provided the exit of the cylinders in the upper part, to work on the table and facilitate insertion.
  • Accumulation structure closed by casing with hot air drying hood.
  • Presser for blocking the fine roll fabric.
  • Reel carriage with automatic alignment.
  • It supports a 40x40 snap-in square flange to support the expansion shaft.
  • Storage cylinder cover diameter 90 mm in Teflon.
  • Motorization for winding the coil by inverter.
LINE CONTROL
The machine can be controlled and regulated in all its functions by means of a "touch-screen" control panel located at the machine entrance and by separate control panels located on each printing unit. The machine is controlled by the main PLC connected via modem to the TEK-IND assistance service.
