Introduction for narrow fabrics is used in combination with each printing machine. Its function is feeding the printing line: keeping the narrow fabrics stretched and without turning it over. This introduction allows feeding the line with a maximum number of eight ribbons at the same time. The introduction allows to feed the ribbons starting from a reel or box. The ribbon passes first over a beater, which rotates quickly in the opposite direction to the direction of the ribbon, keeps it in tension and without folds. After that it passes through a motorized velvet roller, which provides the advancement; after that, the ribbon falls forming a loop, when this lengthens interrupts the beam of a photocell, the motor will stop and starts again when the press has pull the ribbon.
